Materials You’ll Need:
Dahlia seeds
Ziplock bag (quart or gallon size)
Paper towel or coffee filter
Spray bottle (for misting)
Warm and consistent temperature
Steps for Germination:
Preparation: Moisten a paper towel or coffee filter with water and gently squeeze out excess moisture. It should be damp but not soaking.
Placing the Seeds: Spread your dahlia seeds evenly on half of the damp paper towel, ensuring they’re spaced apart.
Folding and Sealing: Fold the towel over the seeds and place this inside the ziplock bag.
Sealing the Bag: Seal the bag most of the way, leaving a small opening for air exchange to create a controlled environment.
