Korean Flowering Cherry Tree (Prunus Takesimensis) Seeds - NEW FOR 2025

The Takesimensis Cherry (prunus takesimensis) is a Korean flowering cherry tree. It has a resemblance to the very popular Yoshino Japanese flowering cherry tree – with its white to light pink flowers – but has a better overall wet and warm hardiness. These trees are sought after for their early, prolific and fragrant spring blooms These blooms give off a pleasant scent. There is a small number of these trees around the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC and help put on quite the show during the cherry tree blooming festival. During the fall, their foliage turns into a pretty crimson red. They’re also a popular bonsai specimen. Each pack comes with basic instructions for germination.
